This is for those whom have
got that message that your account was suspended or you were banned for
any reason you think is unfair and wish to question such actions.
{+} When
making an Ban appeal, include your LOGIN NAME ONLY Never, ever post
your IP. Anyone that isn't an GM whom asks your your IP report them to
us, we will ask for your IP if we need it otherwise DON'T POST it.
{+} Explain fully how you were banned.
{+} If you do not know how, then try to explain what you were doing before you got banned.
{+} If you were banned, and you have absolutely NO IDEA how. Then try to recall anything you MIGHT have done to get you banned.
{+} Provide Screenshots if they are necessary in supporting your case.
{+} Be truthful and calm, we do not respond well to caps, threats and liars.
{+} Try
to put as much information as possible, putting "I logged in today and
It says i'm banned, UNBAN ME" does not help us. Who are you? What's
your name? When did you last play and can you remember doing anything
that might have gotten you banned?
{+} GM's do not ban people WITHOUT a valid reason. So posting "I was banned for no reason", is stupid -- There is always a reason.
{+} Do not put lame excuses, like your dog, brother, sister, fish, Mom or Dad did some "Hacking" which got you banned, For example:
{+} Do not pm a GM to unban you, make a topic. If you pm us, you will be ignored -- only pm if asked to.
{+} In
most cases we aim to respond within 2-4 days. Do not bump and spam your
topic to high hell because you haven't got a response. Hundred's of
people are banned every week, finding your particular ban will take
some time.
{+} If you have a witness to the Ban, get them to post in your topic.
{+} We ignore whiners, and ban beggers. Show patience.
{+} If you think a GM abused their status, the post it in the GM ABUSE forum not here.
{+} If you are banned from Ventrillo, then Put so in the topic title. Example "Banned from Vent", and a reason you were given.
Ban Time limits
Hacking/Wall/Haste/Bug abusing = Perm
Spamming/Flooding/Abuse = 24 Hours to Perm
Vent Spam = 24 Hours
Continued Vent Spam after 24 Hours = Perm
The above time limits are subject to change, and we are not at liberty to discuss when and where this may happen.
